Come out to the Senior Center on November 13th from 7-9pm and experience world class music from around the world. Somewhere beyond or behind all musical borders lies a creative terrain where bluegrass, jazz, latin, classical, pop, and other world musics mingle, played by musicians who care more for inspiration than they do for genre. If that place has a set of ambassadors, they go by the name “Three-Part Invention”.
Long regarded by peers, fans and critics alike as three of the New York area’s finest instrumentalists, mandolinist Wayne Fugate, guitarist Kevin Ege and bassist Barry Wiesenfeld combine their talents in an adventurous new exploration of Jazz, Latin, Bluegrass, Americana and Celtic music, knocking down the walls between these genres to create a new world musical potpourri that defines its own territory.
You can also reminisce with family and friends as you take a trip down memory lane while viewing historical pictures of the village.
There are pictures of many different landmarks, events, and people that make up Montgomery. You will view sites of the different businesses, the various churches, the people participating in Montgomery Traditions, and see how this quaint historical village remains community oriented. Many families from the past still live in Montgomery and many newcomers have made this home.
Everyone who has viewed this slide show has found something exciting to talk about-we hope it will be a highlight for you as well.
